U.S. Soccer Faces Delay

NEW YORK () -- A U.S. club soccer championship may not start as planned next spring.


Alan Rothenberg, president of the U.S. Soccer Federation and head of the new league, said Tuesday a postponement of Major League Soccer to 1996 was possible. As time moves on, "the more you have to analyze whether to start in '95 or '96," Rothenberg said.
