WASHINGTON -- Russianweapon designer Mikhail Kalashnikov wants the U.S. military to adopt his rifles, one of America's biggest arms dealers said Tuesday.
Samuel Cummings, president of InterArms Inc., said he visited Kalashnikov in his home at a Russian arms center in the Ural Mountains. "Get the American forces to adopt my rifle. It's better than theirs and it's one fourth the price," he quoted him as saying.
