United Fans Charged

LONDON ) -- Five men were charged with violent disorder on Wednesday after a soccer fan died following a brawl among rival supporters before a vital cup-tie match in April.

The unidentified men, all from the Manchester area and aged between 21 and 30, were to be in court Thursday.

Paul Nixon, 35, a Crystal Palace fan, died last month from multiple injuries after he fell under the wheels of a coach following a fight with Manchester United supporters in the car park of a pub in Walsall in the English Midlands.

Police launched a murder enquiry because they said they had evidence Nixon had been attacked before he fell under the coach.
