Tallinn Airport Closed

TALLINN, Estonia () -- Tallinn's airport will be closed Aug. 15 to 18 due to reconstruction, an official said Tuesday.


Janno Toots, a spokesman for the national carrier, Estonian Air, told the Baltic News Service that all flights to and from Tallinn airport will be terminated for that period.


The $14 million reconstruction project is conducted by the Finnish Lemminkainen Oy company with the help of Estonian state funds and credits from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the news service said.
