JAKARTA, Indonesia () -- Swedes Jan Apell and Jonas Bjorkman scored a thrilling victory over Australians Todd Woodbridge and Mark Woodforde to clinch the ATP world doubles championship title.
Apell and Bjorkman will be in action in next weekend's Davis Cup final against Russia.
On Sunday, the fifth-seeded pair fought a tough four-hour battle to defeat the second-seeds 6-4, 4-6, 4-6, 7-6 (7-5), 7-6 (7-5).
