MOGADISHU, Somalia-- Dozens of Somali militiamen ambushed UN peacekeepers Monday, killing seven Indian soldiers and wounding six in southwestern Somalia, officials said.
The ambush was in Burleego, a small village about 110 kilometers southwest of the capital Mogadishu, controlled by General Mohamed Farrah Aideed's Somali National Alliance.
