Six Die in Bus Crash

MOSCOW () -- Six people died and three more were badly injured when their bus overturned on a road in the remote Russian republic of Tuva, a spokesman for the Emergency Situations Ministry said Tuesday.


He said the bus, which was carrying 16 citizens from neighboring Mongolia, crashed Monday some 80 kilometers from the town of Chadan.


The spokesman said the accident was caused by a "technical fault."
