WASHINGTON () -- A man carrying a semiautomatic assault weapon walked into the District of Columbia police headquarters and started a shooting spree that killed two FBI agents and a city detective. The gunman also was shot to death.
Police spokesman Sidney Bennett on Wednesday identified the gunman as Bennie Lee Lawson, 25, of Washington, who was questioned by police a week ago in a triple slaying there.
