The head of a major Russian shipping firm was severely beaten in Moscow in an attack that his colleagues link to his job, Interfax reported Monday.
Unidentified people attacked Alexander Matsuk, head of Sakhalin Sea Company, on Friday as he left the Arbat hotel on Plotnikov Pereulok.
Matsuk has grave head injuries but is conscious, the report said. He is under guard in a private hospital.
