Russia, Sweden Name Teams For Davis Cup

Yevgeny Kafelnikov, who led Russia to a stunning upset of Germany in the semifinals, was named to head the team that will host Sweden in next week's final.

Also named to the team Tuesday by the All-Russian Tennis Association were 25th-ranked Alexander Volkov, 95th-ranked Andrei Olkhovsky and Andrei Cherkasov, who is not ranked in the top 100. Andrei Chesnokov, who is ranked No. 32, will be the team's reserve.

In Stockholm, Swedish captain John-Anders Sjogren chose a formidable team of Stefan Edberg, Magnus Larsson, Jonas Bjorkman and Jan Apell to play Russia, with veteran Anders Jarryd as a substitute.

The finals will be held at Moscow's Olympic Sports Center from Dec. 2-4.
