BUCHAREST () -- Romania's big state-run Rovico SA wine producer will export 1 million bottles of wine to Latvia this year in a bid to recover markets in the former Soviet Union, a company official said Monday.
"The Trade Ministry has granted us the necessary export licence, for 1 million bottles. So we are waiting now for them (Latvians) to come and sign the deal," said Rovico's general manager, Ioan Matei.
