Railroad Bomb Attack

A new bomb attack has occurred on a Moscow ring railroad but there were no casualties, a spokesman for the city Counterintelligence Service said Friday.

Andrei Kostromin said by phone that a man-made bomb had exploded under a cargo train between Kanatchikovo and Kozhukhovo stations in central Moscow at 10 P.M. Thursday. The track was damaged.

The same railroad line was the target of a bomb attack Nov. 18 and a man was found dead near the explosion site. Counterintelligence said Chechen terrorists were suspected of involvement in the incident, which damaged the track but did not involve a train.
