Pro-Tibetans Jailed




BEIJING () -- Five advocates of Tibetan independence have been imprisoned for up to 15 years for "counterrevolution," Beijing-controlled Tibet television has reported.


The Boxoi court was told that in March the five had "put up posters calling for Tibetan independence with the aim of splitting the motherland" and on March 29 had defaced the nameplate of a Communist Party building
