The body of Vladimir Zakharov was found in the garage of his home in north Moscow on Tuesday. He had been shot several times in the stomach and chest, a spokeswoman said.
An official at LUKoil, Russia's biggest oil producer, said 44-year-old Zakharov worked as a technical director at one of its transport subsidiaries, Kan.
