Homeless people will be removed from city streets ahead of City Day celebrations set for the first weekend of September, a senior city official said Thursday
The city will remove homeless people from central areas where City Day events are scheduled and placed in homeless shelters to prevent the spread of infectous diseases, Sergei Baidakov, head of the Central Administrative District, told RIA-Novosti.
