HANOI () -- The Russian-Vietnamese joint venture oil company Vietsovpetro has tapped 6.7 million tons of crude so far this year from the offshore White Tiger and Dragon fields, an oil industry source said Thursday. "The volume from Dragon field is very small," the source said.
National production for the year is expected to be slightly higher, including output from a third field, Big Bear, which went into production in October, around the same time as Dragon. All three fields are off Vietnam's southeastern coast.
