ST. PETERSBURG () -- Police have arrested a man accused of disemboweling an 8-year-old boy, Itar-Tass reported Wednesday.
St. Petersburg authorities arrested Igor Irtyshov, 23, in connection with the attack. Irtyshov fit the description given by the boy, Konstantin Kuzmin, who survived the assault.
Kuzmin was flown to the United States, where he will remain until he recovers enough to undergo a rare operation to replace his small intestine.
