Kyrgyzstan Loan Boost

MANILA () -- The Asian Development Bank on Thursday announced approvak of a $40 million special assistance loan to help stabilize the economy of Kyrgyzstan.


It said the interest-free loan would finance essential imports to strengthen energy, transport and education services and help public and private enterprises revitalize the mountainous former Soviet republic's economy. The loan will be repayable over 40 years.
