Kukoc to Quit Bulls?

ATHENS -- The Greek club Panathinaikos has offered Toni Kukoc of the Chicago Bulls $8 million to sign a two-year contract with them, club officials said Friday. The officials said it was the highest offer ever made by a European team for a basketball player. Kukoc, a Croatian, joined the Chicago Bulls from Italy's Treviso in July 1993. "It is a serious and good offer," Kukoc's manager Lutsiano Capikioni said in Greek newspapers. "The decision is now on Toni and the Bulls."
