Kings Trade Robitaille

LOS ANGELES, California () -- Left wing Luc Robitaille, a 50-goal scorer for eight seasons in Los Angeles, has been traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins for right wing Rick Tocchet and a 1995 second-round draft choice.

Robitaille, a native of Quebec, is a seven-time All-Star who began his NHL career in Los Angeles in 1986-87. In 1992-93, he set a goal-scoring record for left wings with 63 and finished with a career-best 125 points as the Kings made it to the Stanley Cup finals, only to lose to Montreal in five games.
