Khmer Rouge Kidnap 3

PHNOM PENH, Cambodia () -- Khmer Rouge guerrillas were holding three unidentified foreigners and dozens of Cambodians they seized in an attack on a passenger train that killed 10, a senior official said Thursday.


Pich Kimsreang, the railway director, said about 20 Khmer Rouge on Tuesday detonated two mines under the train carrying more than 200 passengers from the capital 185 kilometers south to the seaport of Sihanoukville.


The guerrillas then fired on the train, killing 10 people, robbed passengers and then forced more than 100 off the train and into the nearby jungles
