BUENOS AIRES ( -- President Carlos Menem said Wednesday Iran's ambassador should be expelled after an Argentine judge issued arrest warrants for four absent Iranian diplomats over a major anti-Jewish bomb blast in Buenos Aires.
"I think what is called for is at least the withdrawal or the expulsion," Menem told a radio interviewer "of the Iranian ambassador as a first step."
Iran has denied any involvement in the July 18 blast, which killed nearly 100 people, and Wednesday protested to Argentina over what it described as baseless and discourteous allegations by the judge
