16 December 1994
PHOENIX, Arizona -- The Phoenix Suns jumped ahead on a barrage of 3-pointers, then used the rebounding of A.C. Green and Charles Barkley to beat the Seattle SuperSonics, 111-93.
For the second time in as many meetings with the Sonics, the Suns hit a franchise-high 12 shots from beyond the arc, all but three in the first half.
Then Barkley scored 10 of his 20 points in the fourth quarter, helping the Suns build on an 82-72 lead. Gary Payton scored 16 for Seattle, and Shawn Kemp had 15 points and 14 rebounds.
Hornets 106, Pistons 93. In Auburn Hills, Muggsy Bogues and Hersey Hawkins, each with 18, were among seven Charlotte players in double figures Wednesday night as the Hornets defeated Detroit 106-93, handing the Pistons their fifth straight loss.

Rookie Grant Hill, returning to the lineup after missing three games with flu and a left foot injury, led the Pistons with 21 points.
Magic 120, Nuggets 96. In Orlando, Florida, Shaquille O'Neal had 24 points as the Orlando Magic remained unbeaten at home with a rout of the Denver Nuggets.

With 29 seconds remaining, Blaylock missed a jumper from the top of the key that would have tied it, and the Pacers took control. The Hawks got the ball back with six seconds remaining, but Craig Ehlo's off-balance jumper missed as time expired.
Cavaliers 95, Nets 88, 2 OT. In East Rutherford, New Jersey, Tyrone Hill made a dunk off an inbounds play with three-tenths of a second left in the first overtime to tie the game and take the air out of the New Jersey Nets as the Cleveland Cavaliers posted a double-overtime win.
The victory was the Cavaliers' fourth straight and eighth in 11 games.
The Nets were walking off the court at the end of the first overtime, thinking they had an 84-82 victory when the officials put three-tenths of a second back on the clock after a shot by Hill went out of bounds.
