Two policemen were killed and five others wounded in fresh attacks by gunmen in the restive North Caucasus republic of Ingushetia, RIA-Novosti reported Wednesday.

In two separate incidents Tuesday, unidentified gunmen shot at police cars with Kalashnikov automatic rifles and then escaped, RIA-Novosti quoted a spokesman for the local prosecutor as saying.
