NEWCASTLE, Australia () -- England stalwarts Mike Gatting and Devon Malcolm found some much needed form Monday as the tourists fought back in their tour match against New South Wales.
Their efforts helped England end the third day with a lead of 163 runs over the Sheffield Shield champions with one day remaining. At the close on a humid and overcast day, England had reached 200 for five, with Gatting 33 not out.
