Fridge Ices Football

PHILADELPHIA () -- William "The Refrigerator'' Perry, the Philadelphia Eagles' big defensive tackle, has retired from football and is investigating a career in pro wrestling, his agent said.

Perry, 32, was drafted by the Chicago Bears in 1985. He was shifted to the offense and scored three rushing touchdowns, including one in the 1986 Super Bowl victory over New England.

His weight, 335 pounds and more, was often an issue. The Bears waived him in 1993 and the Eagles picked him up for the past two seasons.
