KIEV () -- French Credit Lyonnais Bank has secured a seat on Kiev's Interbank Currency Exchange, becoming its first foreign member, bank officials said Wednesday.

"We became a member of the exchange this week," a Credit Lyonnais Bank official in Kiev said. "We will try to study the exchange for several weeks to understand how it works and then we can start trading."
