HELSINKI -- A Finnish truck driver was killed in Moscow on Tuesday evening, probably shot when he tried to stop four men from robbing his truckload of shoes, the Finnish news agency reported Thursday.
The Finnish truck association called on Finnish authorities to immediately start negotiations with the Russian authorities to guarantee the safety of Finnish drivers in Russia.
"Now the situation must change radically," said Jorma Kirmanen, managing director of the transport firm where the man worked.
