EU-Kazakhstan Pact

BRUSSELS () -- The European Union and Kazakhstan have signed a partnership and cooperation agreement which aims to boost trade, economic and political contacts.


Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev, who signed the agreement at a ceremony during an EU foreign ministers' meeting Monday, said the success of his country's reforms depended on the amount and quality of the economic, financial and technical help from EU countries.
