Drug Clash in Tajikistan

DUSHANBE, Tajikistan — Border troops in Tajikistan clashed with a gang of heroin traffickers attempting to smuggle drugs into the country from Afghanistan.

One trafficker was wounded before the gang fled to Afghanistan, officials said. More than 25 kilograms of heroin and 1 kilogram of cocaine were found.
