Defeated but Defiant, Russia Faces Sweden

PONTIAC, Michigan -- Sweden faces Russia on Friday hoping their World Cup opponents remain stunned by their comprehensive 2-0 defeat to Brazil. Swedish coach Tommy Svensson said the Russians mistakenly opted for man-to-man marking against the South Americans, which could only help his team. Russian coach Pavel Sadyrin was defiant after the Brazil defeat. "We are going on with the original plan for the next game. We are not going to change it," he said.
