MOSCOW () -- Russians are drinking more coffee despite higher world prices and the coffee they are drinking is better quality than ever before, a senior official said Friday.
Sergei Feonov, head of the Kakao division of importers Soyuzplodoimport, said Russians were buying more expensive coffees, including freeze-dried, granulated and even decaffeinated coffee, unknown only a few years ago.
"Interest is especially good for good-quality coffee," Feonov said.
