Coal Exports Up

MOSCOW () -- Russia exported 12.3 million tons of coal in the first half of 1995, 3.8 million tons more than during the same period last year, Interfax reported Wednesday.


Russia sold 4.5 million tons of coal to the CIS and 7.8 million tons to the rest of the world. Russia is aiming to export a total of 24 million tons in 1995, Iterfax said.
