LANDSHUT, Germany ( ) -- Vancouver Canucks forward Pavel Bure will make one guest appearance for Landshut in the German Ice Hockey League in Friday's game against Berlin.
The CSKA Russian Penguins had been trying to lure Bure back to his former team, but assistant general manager Mark Kelly said Wednesday that it was "not looking likely" the winger would return, citing insurance costs.
