Bulgaria Debt Deal

SOFIA () -- Bulgaria hopes to sign an agreement with Russia resolving outstanding bilateral debts in mid-October, a Trade Ministry official said Monday.


The pact is due to be signed by Bulgaria's deputy prime minister and trade minister, Kiril Tsochev, and Russia's acting Finance Minister Sergei Dubinin after approval by their governments. Sofia approved the deal last week.
