Bowler Out With Pox

BRISBANE, Australia () -- England fast bowler Devon Malcolm has chicken pox and will miss the first Ashes cricket test against Australia, which starts Friday at the Gabba Ground.


Team physiotherapist Dave Roberts said Tuesday that Malcolm is suffering from a rash on his scalp, neck, chest, back and arms and had been complaining of feeling unwell.


Roberts, 31, was isolated from his teammates when the tourists arrived in Brisbane.
