Bosnia Air Strike Asked

SARAJEVO -- A local UN commander has requested a NATO air strike to punish the Serbs for killing a driver in an attack on an aid convoy near the Bosnian town of Gorazde on Tuesday, a UN official said.

UN spokesman Paul Risley said that this request was now being assessed by the UN military command in Sarajevo. He said that top UN peacekeeping officials in Zagreb were standing by to respond to the request should it be agreed to.
