WARREN, New Jersey -- Roberto Baggio is a questionable starter in Sunday's World Cup final against Brazil because of a hamstring injury.
The Italian team doctor Andrea Ferretti said Thursday that the star forward will be rested for 48 hours following a right leg strain suffered Wednesday during the semifinal match against Bulgaria.
"At the moment his chances to play (Sunday) are 50 percent," Ferretti said.
Baggio, 27, scored both goals in Italy's 2-1 victory at Giants Stadium before limping off in the 71st minute.
