Albanians Shoot Greek

ATHENS -- A Greek soldier was wounded in an exchange of fire with Albanian forces who had crossed the border into Greece, a Greek army statement said on Friday. It said the soldier was wounded lightly in the right thigh and hand during the exchange of automatic weapon fire with the Albanian soldiers on Thursday evening. The statement said the squad of six to seven Albanian soldiers retreated back into Albania after the brief fire-fight. It said three Greek soldiers had just arrested 10 illegal Albanian refugees inside Greece, and one of the soldiers had advanced toward the nearby border to see if more were coming when he was fired upon by Albanian troops.
