BANGKOK () -- At least 17 people, including three children, were killed when a river ferry landing holding about 100 people collapsed Wednesday in Bangkok, a local radio station reported.
The dead included two young girls, one boy, eight women and one man. The rest had yet to be identified, police said.
The old wooden landing collapsed at the start of the morning rush hour, police said. It is located on the west bank of the Chao Phraya River.
