Rosneft said Thursday that it was seeking licenses to more than 30 oil and gas deposits in the Arctic offshore, while at the same time defending laws limiting access to foreign companies.
Rosneft plans to secure licenses with potential reserves of 18 billion barrels of oil equivalent, chief executive Sergei Bogdanchikov told reporters.
