Gazprom Gets Azeri Gas

Gazprom will buy 500 million cubic meters of gas from Azerbaijan next year under a contract signed Wednesday in Baku.
“I’m sure that the amount of Azeri gas supplied to Russia will increase in the next few years,” Gazprom chief Alexei Miller said in a statement. Prime Minister Vladimir Puint said in Beijing that Gazprom agreed to buy the gas at a “very competitive price.”
