MOSCOW (MT) -- An association to provide aid to former Soviet scientists has been established by the European, Community Commission, Itar-Tass reported on Tuesday.
Filippo Mario Pandolfi, an ECC representative for scientific studies, said in Brussels on Monday that 4 million European Currency Units ($5. 3 million) have been allocated to the new organization.
The EC, United States and Japan are financing a separate for nuclear scientists from the former Soviet Union.
