In an interview with Australia's Herald Sun, alternative rocker Marilyn Manson ranked Russia one of the most frightening countries he's visited.
"Overall, I'd say [Russia is] one of the scarier places I've been," said Manson, who is known for his black-clad gothic look and has been accused of Satanism.
"It was a sense of danger, and a sense of surrealness, because [Russia's] a place that you were taught to fear as a child.
"When you've traveled the entire world ?€¦ a lot of places have been very Westernized, you find McDonald's everywhere ?€” but there were things about Russia that were very unlike any other place I've been."
Manson played a single show at Moscow's Olimpiisky Sport Complex in February.
