Yury Vershinin, president of the Tyumen Oil Company since its inception, was shot on the stairs leading to his apartment as he returned home Monday night in Tyumen, a city in southwestern Siberia, the report said.
He was rushed to an intensive care unit, and doctors said his wounds did not appear to be life-threatening.
