Baby Seal Rescued in Baltic Sea

Ksenia, a baby seal, was rescued last month from the Finnish Gulf after losing her mother in a storm.

Because of warm weather linked to climate change, ice hasn't formed in the gulf this year, depriving seals of their natural habitat for breeding.

Ksenia is now being rehabilitated by the Friends of the Baltic Seal Foundation, an NGO based in St. Petersburg.
