Russian Cyclone Leaves Hospital Without a Roof (Video)

Powerful winds have ripped off the roof of a hospital in a village in Russia's Far East, as a cyclone swept through the region on Tuesday, a news report said.

No injuries were reported during the incident in the village of Vrangel during which about 100 square meters of the hospital was left without a roof, Interfax reported, citing a local Emergency Situations Ministry spokesperson.

The hospital continued its work throughout, the report said.

The incident came amid a heavy snowstorm that hit the Far East on Monday, bringing with it winds with a speed of up to 23 meters per second.
