4 Hospitalized in Dormitory Brawl After Factory Workers Light Man's Face on Fire

Four people — including a pregnant woman — wound up in the hospital after a fight broke out in a dormitory for factory workers Sunday, Interfax reported Monday.

One of the victims suffered burns to his throat and lungs, as well as to his face, Interfax reported, citing an unidentified medical source.

The source said it all started when an argument erupted between the dormitory's administrator and three factory workers who were living there. During the spat, the workers doused flammable liquid in the administrator's face and set fire to it, the report said.

Witnesses detained the three men, and in the ensuing melee the workers themselves were injured. A pregnant woman was also hospitalized with injuries, the report said, though no details were provided. Her role in the conflict was unclear.

All of the patients were connected to the Lyublinsky Casting and Mechanical Plant, Interfax reported.
