Russian Mine-Sweeping Dog Foresees Germany Winning World Cup

A Russian mine-sweeping dog has predicted that Germany will win this year's World Cup by hunting down a German mine before an Argentinian one.

The dog, a Labrador named Darling, had to search for two anti-tank mines, a German DM31 and an Argentinian FMK-3, and was able to locate the German one first, officials in Russia's Central Military District said Sunday, the Interfax news agency reported.
