A businesswoman has lost more than $87,000 after her purse was stolen by masked men in central Moscow, police said Thursday,
The 44-year-old woman reported Wednesday that her purse — along with the 3,56 million rubles it contained — was taken by three masked men, who approached her as she was getting into her car on Seleznyovskaya Ulitsa, Moscow police said, Interfax reported.
The incident is not the first of its kind so far in 2014.
In February, a man in south-western Moscow was beaten by three masked assailants, who made off with his bag — and the 4.5 million rubles ($130,000) it contained, Interfax reported.
